We regret to inform you that Halloween has officially taken over Cicero District 99! Classrooms were invaded by superheroes, hallways were haunted by ghosts, princesses took over the playgrounds, and a suspicious number of teaches showed up to work looking nothing like their staff ID photos! 😂

And the students? Oh, they understood the assignment!

From costume parades that could rival a Hollywood red carpet to classroom parties filled with laughter, games, treats, and enough Halloween excitement to power a small city, our D99 schools were absolutely BOO-MING with fun today! 🎃

We saw creativity that deserved an Oscar, costumes that deserved a standing ovation, and teachers who proved that sometimes the best lesson plans involve a little magic, a lot of imagination, and a willingness to look completely ridiculous for the kids!

But here's the real treat...

Behind every costume was a smiling face. Behind every classroom celebration was a staff member who went the extra mile. And behind every unforgettable moment was the kind of school community that makes Cicero District 99 so special.

Because the best part of Halloween isn't what's inside the candy bag. It's the memories we make along the way.

And don't put those costumes away just yet... Trick-or-treating hours throughout Cicero TODAY are 3-7 P.M.

Plus, Town President Larry Dominick, alongside the Cicero Fire and Police Departments, will be spreading some extra Halloween cheer with a special candy giveaway throughout the community! Keep an eye out for the fire truck as it makes its way through Cicero, stopping at designated locations beginning at 3 P.M. The Halloween route continues through 7:30 P.M.
