🐹 HAMSTERS, EAGLES, AND OCTOPUSES — OH MY! WILSON 6TH GRADERS GO WILD WITH THEIR ANIMAL RESEARCH! 🐙

Posted Date: 10/15/25 (10:09 AM)

Yesterday marked the end of the 1st Quarter here in Cicero District 99, and our 6th graders at Wilson Elementary School wrapped it up in style — by showing off their Media class research projects!

The theme? Animals From chipmunks and cats to hamsters, turtles, eagles, octopuses, mice, and even lions — students explored the wild world of nature through their own research, creativity, and curiosity.

During each presentation, you couldn't help but be impressed by how much they learned and how proud they were to share it. It wasn't just about facts and posters — it was about discovery, confidence, and the joy of learning.

👏 Huge kudos to our young researchers (and Ms. Darcy) for making research come alive. It's moments like these that remind us why learning is such an adventure.
