πŸ† BIG WINS FOR UNITY SPECIAL OLYMPICS ATHLETES πŸŽ‰

Posted Date: 12/10/25 (02:44 PM)

Cicero District 99 is incredibly proud of our Special Olympics Winter Athletes, whose dedication and spirit continue to inspire our entire community.

πŸ₯‰The Unity Jr. High Tiger Bowling Team traveled three hours south to Β Victory Lanes in Decatur, IL, where they competed at the state tournament β€” and brought home the bronze medal, finishing 3rd in the state! A special shout-out goes to Christopher Alvarado, who qualified as an individual bowler and represented District 99 with tremendous pride and determination. Way to go, Christopher!

🐯 We are also thrilled to highlight one of our remarkable Special Olympics athletes, Kristal Morales. Kristal made district history by becoming the first athlete to perform a full dance routine alongside our Unity Dancers β€” and she absolutely shined. Her confidence, joy, and hard work lit up the floor and moved everyone who watched.

These accomplishments aren't just athletic milestones β€” they represent courage, perseverance, and the power of inclusion. Our athletes remind us what it means to push boundaries, break barriers, and celebrate every victory along the way.

Congratulations to all of our incredible athletes! District 99 is so proud of you πŸ’™
