🛑 HOW HIRING CROSSING GUARDS! HELP KEEP OUR STUDENTS SAFE! 🛑

Posted Date: 02/10/26 (11:12 AM)

Cicero District 99 is actively seeking dedicated community members to serve as Crossing Guards — a vital role that directly supports the safety and well-being of our students every day.

This is more than just a job. It's a chance to make a meaningful impact in your neighborhood.

Each morning and afternoon, crossing guards provide a reassuring presence at our intersections — helping children arrive at school safely, offering peace of mind to families, and strengthening the fabric of our community.

Requirements:
✅ Must be 18 years or older
✅ Reliable, attentive, and committed to student safety

No prior experience is required — just a willingness to serve and show up for our kids.

Imagine every corner staffed. Every crosswalk protected. Every child supported on their way to and from school. With your help, we can make that vision a reality.

HOW TO APPLY

Interested applicants may apply in person at the Town of Cicero (4949 W. Cermak Rd):
📍 Visit the 2nd Floor Human Resources Department
👤 Ask for Jacob Mijares

If this opportunity isn't right for you, please consider sharing this post with someone who may be interested. One conversation, one share, or one application could help keep our students safer.

Together, let's ensure every corner is covered and every child has a safe path to school.
