With only THREE days left in the school year, the energy across Cicero District 99 is impossible to ignore and our Dance & Cheer Clubs are leading the celebration in unforgettable fashion.

Last week, the stages at Roosevelt and Sherlock Elementary Schools transformed into something bigger than performances. They became showcases of confidence, teamwork, dedication, and school pride. Families filled the rooms with cheers, students lit up the floor with passion, and every routine reminded us what makes District 99 so special: our students are fearless, talented, and full of heart.

What started as clubs have grown into movements across our schools. Dance and Cheer have become some of the most exciting and inspiring programs in the District, giving students a place to shine, belong, and express themselves. The commitment, discipline, and creativity these students displayed was nothing short of incredible.

And maybe that's what makes this moment so powerful.

As the countdown to summer begins, these performances captured the spirit of the entire school year — growth, resilience, friendship, and joy. Every clap, every smile, every standing ovation felt like a celebration of how far our students have come together.
