🙌 THIS IS WHAT BPAC IS ALL ABOUT! 🙌

D99 parents came together this past Friday morning for our first BPAC meeting of the 2026-27 school year — and what a great way to start!

There was learning. There was conversation. There were questions, new connections, plenty of smiles and, most importantly, a room full of parents who showed up because they want the very best for their children.

Our special guest, Dr. Ferney Ramirez, joined us for an important conversation about starting the school year on the right foot and helping our children succeed.

Parents walked away with practical ideas for supporting their children, keeping them motivated, building positive habits, improving communication and helping them work through the challenges that can come during the school year.

But BPAC is about so much more than a presentation.

It's parents meeting other parents. It's having conversations and asking questions. It's learning something you can actually take home and use with your family. It's building a stronger connection between families, our schools and Cicero District 99. And it's a reminder that when it comes to our children's education, none of us has to do it alone.

And yes... there were snacks, refreshments and raffle prizes too! 😄

To every parent who joined us: THANK YOU. Whether this was your first BPAC meeting or you've been coming for years, we're so glad you were there.

Seriously. You don't need to know anyone. You don't need to be an expert on anything. You don't need to register or make some big commitment. Just come.

Every meeting brings a new topic, new information and another opportunity to connect with other families and become an even bigger part of your child's educational journey.
