STANDING UP TO BULLYING — TOGETHER 🤝

Each year in October, Cicero District 99 is proud to join the national movement for Unity Day — a day to stand up, speak out and show solidarity in the fight against bullying.
And this year on Wednesday, Oct. 21, District 99 and Superintendent Dr. Aldo Calderin are calling on every student, staff member and community partner to wear orange or white as a bold visual symbol that no one stands alone.
Unity Day, started by PACER's National Bullying Prevention Center as the signature event of National Bullying Prevention Month, continues to grow every year as a tangible representation of the universal message that our society wants to promote kindness, acceptance and inclusion to prevent bullying.
Together, we can all make a difference in ending bullying — both in school and our communities. Be a buddy, not a bully, and help us create a safer, more inclusive environment for all!
