⚽ DOUBLE THE GLORY! UNITY BOYS SOCCER CELEBRATES TWO UNDEFEATED CHAMPIONSHIP SEASONS! 🏆

It was a night worthy of champions, and the Unity Junior High boys soccer teams delivered a finish to remember!

On a beautiful evening under the light of Unity's state-of-the-art turf field, both the seventh- and eighth- grade boys soccer teams captured West Suburban Conference Championships, capping off remarkable undefeated seasons in front of an electric crowd of families, friends, and supporters.

The 8th Grade Varsity team, led by Coach Guerrero, secured its championship with an impressive 2-0 shutout victory over Roosevelt Bellwood, completing an outstanding 10-0-1 season. Meanwhile, Coach Perri's 7th Grade JV squad earned a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Northlake Middle School, claiming its own conference crown with an identical 10-0-1 record.

Together, the teams combined for 20 victories, two draws, and not a single defeat. Even more impressive, both teams saved their championship-clinching performances for the same evening, shutting out their opponents when the stakes were highest.

While the final scores tell the story of two exceptional seasons, the accomplishments reflect something much greater: the dedication, discipline, and teamwork of young athletes who committed themselves to a common goal. From the first practice to the final whistle, these players demonstrated what can happen when talent meets preparation and teammates believe in one another.

Their success also adds another proud chapter to Unity Soccer's remarkable tradition. For more than a decade, the program has consistently competed at a championship level, developing young athletes and preparing them for the challenges of an equally competitive high school soccer program. This year's champions have certainly done their part to carry that legacy forward.

A special congratulations to Coach Guerrero and Coach Perri for their outstanding leadership, mentorship, and commitment to these young men. Sincere appreciation also goes to the families and Unity community whose enthusiastic support helped make championship night such a memorable occasion.

But above all, congratulations to the players. You've earned more than championship titles. You've created lifelong memories, represented your school with pride, and shown what determination, teamwork, and perseverance can accomplish.

Great teams are remembered for the games they win. Special teams are remembered for the way they inspire everyone around them.

Congratulations to our 2026 Unity Junior High Boys Soccer West Suburban Conference Champions! Your school and community couldn't be prouder!

Two Teams. Two Championships. One Incredible Season. 🐯
